PROPOSED SHELLFISH PERMIT FEE INCREASES & AMEND RULES AND REGULATIONS
Notice is hereby given that the Wellfleet Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room to consider proposed fee increases and amendment to Shellfish Rules and Regulations:

Wellfleet Shellfish Rules and Regulations
4.1.3 Annual commercial permits valid from 1 January to 31 December will be issued from January 1st to April 30th of the permit year subject to a thirty (30) day review of the application. (add) Permits will be only issued after the applicant has shown proof of valid State Commercial Permit with Shellfish endorsement and a valid Shellfish Transaction Card. Only in the year in which a person reaches fourteen (14) years of age may that person apply for a junior commercial permit at any time after the occurrence of that person’s birthday.
