CHARTER Chapter 8 Section 1 Board of Health
8-1-1 A Board of Health of five members shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three –year overlapping terms. One member of the Board, who shall not necessarily by the Chairman, shall be professionally qualified for the duties of the office.
8-1-2 The Board shall exercise such Public Health functions as may be prescribed by General Law, this charter and bylaw.
