Registration and General Business License Regulations
1. Registration
a) All persons or entities having a usual place of business in the Town of Wellfleet will be required to register their business with the Board of Selectmen.
b) There will not be a fee for registration
2. General Business Licenses
a) The following types of businesses will be required to obtain a general business license if they are not otherwise licensed by the Board of Selectmen: retail businesses, galleries/studios/antique dealers, autobody repair, charter boats/booths, sport rentals, tool rentals, flea markets.
b) The fee for a general business license will be $50.00
c) Any person who operates an unlicensed business of a type for which the Board of Selectmen has determined that a license shall be required of who operated a business of which the license has been denied, revoked or suspended shall be fined one hundred dollars for each day or fraction of a day of violation. The Wellfleet Police Department (including Special Officers), the Building Inspector and any other official whom the Board of Selectmen may from time to time designate shall have authority of enforcement.
