FISCAL 2010 PROPERTY TAX BILLS – ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE
The revaluation of property is delaying the fall tax bills.
We anticipate that out-of-town property owners will receive notices of new property value from the assessors in mid-December. Year-round owners will be notified by local newspaper where to look for new values online.
Tax bills will probably go out in early- to mid-January. Payment will be due 30 days after issue. Those wishing to make voluntary estimated payments in December may send an amount approximately equal to the May 1st payment (note property address on check) to Wellfleet Town Collector, 300 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667. Payments made in advance will be noted on bills when they are issued.
